Anna Pot has gained wide professional experience in the financial sector, in government and civil society. In these arenas she has come to appreciate how all these players contribute in their unique approaches to securing and promoting sustainable development. She currently serves as the National Coordinator for the UN SDGs at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a role in which she promotes national implementation of the SDGs in and by the Netherlands. Prior to this, she spent over 15 years at APG Asset Management. As one of first two hired in the discipline, she has built and evolved the global responsible investment policy of APG’s clients and our global team. In 2016 she moved from the head office in Amsterdam to New York to create a US responsible investment team and embed the ESG approach among the APG’s Americas investment, legal, risk and operations teams.
