Malcolm Campbell-Verduyn is associate professor in International Political Economy at the Department of International Relations and International Organization, University of Groningen, The Netherlands. He studies the implications of digital technologies for the intersections of global environmental, financial and security governance. He is co-editor-in-chief of the Yearbook on Data Autonomy (University of Groningen Press) as well as co-editor of Global Digital Data Governance: Polycentric Perspectives (Routledge, 2024), Cambridge Global Handbook of Financial Infrastructures (CUP, 2025), as well as Ineffective Policy: Causes and Consequences of Bad Policy Choices (Bristol UP, 2025). He coordinates the Politics of Proof in the Digital Age research group for the Center for Global Knowledge Studies, as well as the Sustainability Technology research group at the Rudolf Agricola School for Sustainable Development, University of Groningen.
